Premium Industrial Wooden Planks for KSA's Manufacturing Sectors
Most procurement officers running timber supply for Saudi industrial operations will tell you the same thing, sourcing the wood is the easy part. What takes time is finding a supplier who actually stocks what they quote. Cuts to the dimension you specified, and does not disappear when the order is three weeks overdue and your production floor is waiting.
KSA Boxes holds industrial wooden planks in KSA across all three major product categories, cribbing blocks, packaging lumber, and structural scaffolding boards, through direct sawmill distribution channels. That means when we quote availability, it reflects real stock, not a promise to source. Our supply network runs across Dammam Industrial Cities, Riyadh’s key distribution zones, and construction sites throughout the Eastern Province.
If your facility runs continuous pallet repair operations, or your site team needs scaffolding wooden planks in Dammam on short notice. We turn RFQs around the same day and confirm dispatch dates upfront.
Pricing comes direct from the sawmill chain, no distributor margin sitting on top of your per-unit cost.
Wholesale Wooden Blocks & Timber Profiles Engineered to Specification
Custom Cut Timber Blocks & Cribbing Blocks
Spend any time around a heavy industrial laydown yard, transformer staging, crane outrigger pads, pressurised vessel storage, and you start to understand how much is riding on the dimensional accuracy of a piece of wood sitting under several hundred tonnes of equipment. A cribbing block that is 3mm short on one face distributes load unevenly. That unevenness, under sustained pressure, is what causes a shift.
We cut cribbing blocks and industrial wood backing blocks to your specified dimensions, held to ±2mm tolerance batch to batch. Engineering drawings, site-measured specs, or standard profiles, we work from any of them. Species is Spruce Pine Fir (SPF) as standard, with structural-grade softwood alternatives available depending on load requirement.
- Cribbing profiles in stock: 100×100mm, 150×150mm, 200×200mm
- Non-standard dimensions cut to drawing, no minimum order penalty on custom sizes
- Rough-sawn or planed finish specified at order stage
- Grade documentation available for site engineer records
- MOQ flexible for facilities running ongoing supply agreements
Heavy Duty Timber Planks & Scaffolding Boards
There’s a reliable way to spot scaffolding planks that were sourced from the wrong type of supplier. Look at them after the first month of site use in the Eastern Province heat. Surface checking, cross-section variation between boards in the same batch, flex under load that was not there at delivery. Construction contractors running scaffolding across Dammam industrial zones and Jubail project sites need structural wood boards graded for dynamic loading, cut to consistent cross-section, and documented well enough that a site engineer can sign off on them.
That is what this wooden packaging product range covers. Structural planks graded for scaffolding deck, warehouse racking backstop, temporary framing, and formwork support, same grade specification held across the full batch volume, with load rating documentation travelling with the delivery.
- Plank profiles: 225×38mm, 250×50mm, 300×50mm scaffolding dimensions
- Lengths: 3.0m, 3.6m, 4.2m, 4.8m standard non-standard lengths cut to order
- Load rating documentation for site compliance and engineer sign-off
- Delivery to Dammam Industrial Areas I, II & III and Jubail Industrial City
- Cross-section consistency maintained batch to batch, no grade mixing in bulk orders
Scalable Wholesale Wooden Blocks for Saudi Arabia Supply Chains
The conversation around timber procurement in Saudi Arabia’s industrial sector tends to focus on price per cubic metre. That matters, but it is rarely where the real cost sits. The real cost is in the rework when a batch comes in off-spec. The production stoppage when a reseller runs short and cannot confirm a delivery date, and the QC overhead of inspecting every incoming load because the spec varies supplier to supplier.
KSA Boxes sources through direct sawmill distribution networks. The intermediary layer that introduces both the markup and the variability is removed. For a procurement officer managing timber spend across three facilities and a rolling construction programme. The practical effect is that month-seven deliveries look the same as month-one deliveries. Same species, same moisture content, same cross-section tolerance, same documentation pack.
On kiln-drying specifically:
Saudi industrial environments are demanding in a way that procurement specifications written for temperate markets do not fully account for. Warehouses in Dammam’s industrial areas sit at 45°C or above through summer. Outdoor yards deal with humidity swings between seasons. Green or undried timber, the kind that passes a visual check but was never properly processed, starts moving under those conditions within weeks. Kiln-dried stock processed correctly does not. Your pallet repair line does not shim boards that have cupped since the last delivery, your crating team does not rework lids, and your scaffolding planks do not develop surface checks before the second week of site use.
Supply agreements with us lock in batch specifications, volume-based pricing and confirmed lead times per delivery run, across the full contract term, not just the first purchase order.
Technical Specifications & Ordering FAQs
Q: What wood species do you carry for industrial backing blocks and cribbing applications?
We use kiln-dried Spruce Pine Fir (SPF) as our standard for cribbing and machinery support because its excellent strength-to-weight ratio offers reliable load distribution without the handling difficulties of heavy hardwoods. Also we can also source denser alternatives, like Douglas Fir or structural Pine, upon request. Submit your specification sheet with your RFQ, and we will confirm availability and deliver a quote the same day.
Q: Can you supply heat-treated timber blocks and packaging lumber for export use?
Yes, we regularly supply pre-cut, ISPM 15-certified lumber for in-house export crate assembly. We heat-treat the wood to a 56° C core temperature for 30 minutes, applying the official HT stamp and providing full IPPC documentation to clear Saudi Customs and destination ports. Simply share your required dimensions during the RFQ stage, and also we will deliver the pre-treated, custom-cut timber directly to your facility.
Q: Our sites run continuous timber requirements. How does the supply process work for ongoing orders?
Submit an RFQ with your specifications, volume, and delivery frequency to secure locked contract pricing and automated repeat orders. We will provide a standardized QC tolerance document for your incoming inspection, with qualifying high-volume batches dispatching the same working day from Dammam.
